That is why the results capture things no automatic filter can: your signature expression, the detail of your glasses, your pet's posture. Here is the full process, step by step.
Step 1: analyzing your photo and your instructions
When your order arrives, the first thing the illustrator does is study your photos: face shape, hair, distinctive features, clothing. Then they read your special instructions — the pose you asked for, the accessories, how to group the people — and define the composition of the scene together with the background you chose.
Step 2: the sketch in the style's visual language
Here is the real difficulty of the craft: translating your actual features into the visual language of the show. Each style has its own rules — the eyes of a chaotic sci-fi cartoon are not built the same way as those of a classic yellow-family style, and the proportions of a cozy-mystery style have nothing to do with the angular silhouettes of a bright 90s-fantasy style. The challenge is for the drawing to be 100% faithful to the style and still have anyone recognize you at first glance.
Step 3: line, color and background
On the internally approved sketch, the artist works the final linework, the flat color characteristic of each show, and the integration with the background: making the green portal's lighting reflect on the characters, making the couch shadows of an animated city fall where they should. These are the details that separate a professional portrait from a character crudely pasted onto a backdrop.
Step 4: 48-hour delivery and included revision
The final file lands in your inbox in high resolution, ready to print on canvas, poster or frame, or to use directly as an avatar. And if something is not quite right — a hair color, a clothing detail — the revision is included: you write to us and we adjust it.
Why do we not use AI? Because automatic generators do not understand what makes you recognizable: they produce a generic character in the style with a vague resemblance. Our value is exactly the opposite — making your portrait unmistakably yours.
